COORDINATION AND SUPPORT ACTION -  TOOL TO INCREASE INFECTIOUS DISEASES RESEARCH POTENTIAL IN RĪGA STRADIŅŠ UNIVERSITY

On 10 and 11 April 2014 annual RSU Scientific Conference - the main event in the field of medical research in Latvia -  was held.

The representatives of Baltinfect Project participated at the conference with poster presentation.

Meeting of „Baltinfect” project  Advisory Board, Steering Committee and Project management team with participation of five international experts took place in Riga Stradinš University on 4-5 September 2014. The following five international experts joined the meeting: Maria Sὄderlund-Venermo (Finland), Dari di Luca (Italy), Thomas Schulz (Germany), Jonas Blomberg (Sweden), Frank Graage (Germany).

The International Microbiology Congresses of the International Union of Microbiological Societies (IUMS) are taking place once within 4 years. The 16th International Congress of Virology was organized in Montréal, Canada, from July 27 to August 1, 2014.
